It hasn't been a bad day, it has just been one of those days when nobody wants to do anything, including me. Spring fever? I'm not sure, but I do know that it is 4:00 p.m. here and the schoolwork isn't done. What should I do, make them work Saturday?
Of course I didn't do the stay-in-the-kitchen thing today. That's where I went wrong. The older two kids want to have friends over Saturday, so I had them do more cleaning and less schoolwork today, but they did very little. The youngest did quite a bit of work on his solar system mobile but very little else.
On the bright side, I'm going to a homeschool book sale tonight and that seems like it will be fun and interesting.
