Fair!

We went to the fair yesterday.  My oldest son didn't know how his ankle would do with all the walking around so we only planned to be there for 4 hours before the concert.  His ankle did fine with the help of a little bit of Motrin and we discovered that 4 hours is not nearly enough to see all we need to see at the fair.  We watched a magic show, a juggling show, saw the house they build inside the fairgrounds every year, the raptors, pigs,  horses, toys, hot tubs, the health screening part and  the city bus and it was very quickly time to sprint across the fairgrounds to our van, grab a 5 minute dinner in the van and rush to the concert.  We got home at approximately midnight.  Fortunately, we get to go back Wednesday because we didn't even have time to see our own 4H entries!
