Laundry.

I hardly ever have to do laundry anymore. As I type this, my washer and dryer are both running and I did not turn them on. My oldest son is doing laundry without being asked. It's a miracle! Actually, my 2 oldest kids have been doing a lot of laundry lately. I am not complaining. I just wish that there were a few other chores that they did without being told and without whining when they are told!

I start all of my kiddos to helping with laundry and doing dishes by themselves at about the age of 8. It's a habit that comes in handy now, but does an even better job of preparing them to be independent later on. Cleaning the bathroom starts when they are 10. ;o)

Wow..you sure did train them right!!LOL!!
Trina always says when I tell her the dishwasher needs emptying,"I just did it two days ago!!" Yes, I go to all my neighbors and get their dirty dishes too. LOL!!

Can I borrow your children??

Wow!

Bryan does laundry without being asked, too.
But, only when there's something he wants that's in the hamper. ;)

Birdie,
Wow, maybe we'll start working on bathrooms too! Actually, I think loading the dishwasher is next.

Sunshine Perri,
Better borrow Birdie's children. They clean bathrooms! Mine only do laundry and a few other chores and most of those are done while whining.

Lynn,
My oldest son usually wants his favorite jeans clean and that's his motivation, but I don't care as long as he puts some other things in there as well!
