A few weeks ago we had a homeschool group planning meeting. We all brought our calendars and pens and sat down to discuss what types of things we want to do this quarter. We set dates for our 4H meetings, planned field trips, restaurant trips, Mom's night out, etc. I was looking at my calendar just now and realized that I sat there and agreed to planning all of the field trips on Fridays. There's just one small, teeny problem with that. I have to work on Fridays.
What was I thinking? I don't really feel comfortable asking for a Friday off every single month. Sometimes I forget that I'm not like all the other moms. :-(
