Okay, we have not started school yet. Since I made the kids go longer in December than the public schooled kids, I'm giving them a few days here so that they get 2 weeks off. That means we start on Thursday. Meanwhile, we've already re-imposed the normal screen time restrictions for the most part and we've been doing things like taking down the Christmas stuff and cleaning, so we're easing out of down time and back into regular life mode. Tonight we've got our first meeting with the homeschool group since the Christmas party and we're really looking forward to it. We've missed everyone!
It's nice to be able to ease into things instead of boom, waking up at 6:30 and leaving the house for the day and coming home absolutely exhausted. I don't miss that.
