I kind of feel that I should

demotivational posters
do something different with my blog.  So far, over the past, 6 or 7 years, its been just a collection of thoughts, in no particular order, because honestly, my thoughts pretty much go in no particular order all the time.  I find my own blog useful to look up things like what we studied when and when events happened in our family, but I don't know if anyone else finds it useful or illuminating.  I really think it's just too random.  I'm going to look around for some way to structure the blog and some way to structure the archives so that it can be easy to look up resources, words of wisdom and funny stuff and possibly just take some of the whining off of here.  Does anyone have any blogger organization tips or ideas?

  1. Hi, I answered your question about curriculum on my blog.

As for organizing a blog, I've gone through the same questions.

Setting up tags and categories helped me understand what I was really doing. Then I added some drop down menus.

I think people can find things more easily now. At least I hope so. What do you think?

And once that was organized, it was easy to see that I usually post according to a certain weekly schedule, so now that I know that it helps me be focussed when I post.

I've found one step leads to the next. :) And it does take a fair bit of time to set it all up, but it is worth it.

  2. I love your blog! I don't always comment, but I frequently smile or chuckle at what you've written.
