Better Now.

We're somewhat better now. A couple of hundred dollars was all it took to get the septic system straightened out. The kids are gradually getting over whatever it is that they had and things are back on a more even keel here, thank goodness. We're even getting our sense of humor back. We've been watching the Olympics but not really taking advantage of any of the unique study opportunities that they present. We've just been watching. Maybe tonight we'll get the globe and locate the countries the athletes are from and I'll look and see if there are any activiities in the KONOS book that we haven't done yet. Then, when the Olympics are over, we will have some sort of end of unit party and then start our next unit, whichever one it is. ;-)

Didn't Sasha Cohen do a great job last night?

  1. Couldn't get Rosie interested in the lympics at all... She does, however, love to watch UK play ball. *Go Big Blue*

Have you ever had a hands on look at the Prairie Primer by any chance? I'd like your opinion. *Smile*

  2. I haven't looked at Prairie Primer, though I've heard good things about it. My kids haven't really shown much interest in the Little House books yet. We read Little House in the Big Woods and Farmer Boy, but not much interest here. Sorry, I'm no help.
